Dr Ranjit Magherra is a skilled and dedicated ENT Head and Neck Specialist with over 28 years of experience. He graduated from the National University of Singapore and subsequently obtained his postgraduate Fellowship in Otorhinolaryngology from the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) and Royal College of Surgeons (Glasgow). He then completed his specialist training in Otorhinolaryngology in 2000 and went on to complete a rigorous Fellowship in Head & Neck and Thyroid Surgery.

Dr Magherra has a distinguished career and has received several accolades while serving in the public healthcare sector. He was Head of Department and Director of Head and Neck Surgery at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (NTFGH), ENT Head & Neck Surgery Department.

He held the position of Adjunct Assistant Professor with Yong Loo Lin School Medicine (NUS), was a member of the Teaching Faculty for ENT doctor training programme and previously had an active role in the Residency Advisory Committee.

As a testament to his commitment to patient care, Dr Magherra has received several Service Quality Awards and has been recognised for his role in the hospital’s proactive response to COVID-19. 

Dr Magherra’s expertise covers all aspects of ENT, including conditions of the ear, nose, throat, head and neck lumps, thyroid nodules and ENT cancers; and he is dedicated to providing personalised, high-quality care to all his patients.
